Hello, my name is Sofia and I am an LCSW with 5+ years of experience working with adults and adolescents focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues. I specialize in motivational interviewing where I focus on as asking open-ended questions, provide affirmation and empathy to you. I will also summarize your thoughts and feelings to make sure there is understanding on my part of where you are in your journey and provide my warm guidance to continue on your healing path.
Our first session, we will focus on establishing an empathic and compassionate relationship based on mutual understanding and respect while exploring the concerns we will be working on together to move towards developing positive growth.
