About me

*Now accepting clients on Saturdays!* I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Social Work from Southwest Texas State University in San Marco, Texas, currently known as Texas State University. I have inpatient, outpatient, emergency room and private practice experience specializing in Crisis Intervention and Acceptance Commitment Therapy all while working with children through the geriatric population. In addition to being a LCSW, I am a Certified Master Life Coach, Certified Happiness Life Coach, Certified Life Purpose Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach and a Certified Goal Life Coach.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session I would like to get to know you and and learn what you would like to work on. It will be causal and laid back. My goal is to get to know you and develop rapport. Rapport between a therapist and a client is crucial to a successful therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a provider may be my ability to form rapport fairly quickly. I also consider myself as an eclectic therapist meaning I use different ideas, styles and diverse modalities.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with teens and young adults as they are transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. Teens and young adults are becoming more independent, and begin to look at the future in terms of college, career, relationships, families, housing and so on. During this period, teen and young adults explore possibilities and begin to form their own identities .
