Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor from New Jersey. I work with clients ranging from teenagers throughout the lifespan. I enjoy working with people and collaborating with them to address their concerns whether it be substance misuse, addiction, life transitions, anxiety or depression. I am open to meeting the client where they are at. Using warmth, empathy and humor we can work together to achieve your goals.
In our first session together, a client can expect to share a brief history of their presenting issues, and to begin establishing a therapeutic rapport. We can then discuss the goals they would like to establish, and how we can work together to assist the client in achieving them.
Having worked with a multitude of clients for the past 5 years. I have learned to be a good listener and really hone in on ways to meet the client where they are at and to make positive connections so that we can work collaboratively to meet their individual and unique needs.
I love working with clients who are struggling with issues and helping them understand their thoughts, behaviors and collaborating with them to make positive changes in their lives.
I use a variety of treatment methods to meet clients where they are at. I feel that this flexibility allows me to form a positive therapeutic rapport with my clients.
