About me

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I have been a clinician for the last 7 years while also being licensed as a K-12 School Counselor for the last 11 years. I serve clients starting at age 5 and up. I am a passionate counselor whose mission is to help people know they can manage their conditions and live fulfilling lives.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session there will be brief introductions and an exploratory conversations that led you to seek counseling. This will help me identify the best treatment plan for you. We will also establish frequency of sessions and any additional information that may arise.

My greatest strength as a provider is helping you hone in on what improvements you want to make in your life, challenging the mindset that has troubled you, and helping you create a plan to be successful in your journey to healing.

I am best positioned for clients who want to engage in counseling. I have a direct but emphathetic approach and would be best suited for clients who are serious about making positive changes in their lives. Since I serve a broad range of clients, it is important that for children, parents are aware that counseling can be a long process and it is critical rapport is built to meet their needs. For adolescents and adults, it is important that you have a mindset of doing the work to improve your circumstances.
