About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut with a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University. Since 2013, I have been helping individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, regain balance, and return to living fully. I believe that with the right support, people can move beyond their struggles, strengthen their resilience, and rediscover hope for the future.

My style is non-directive and client-centric. I incorporate God-centric interventions for interested clients to help them be congruent with their belief systems. I am highly motivated to assist you in any setting through your unique challenges. As a culturally sensitive therapist, I integrate the cultural values of my clients into our sessions. offering hope and support so that my clients feel heard and understood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to assist clients recognize their negative thought patterns and work with them to challenge and reframe these thoughts. This process involves questioning the evidence for these thoughts, examining their usefulness, and considering alternative, more balanced ways of thinking. It also includes behavioral experiments and activities where the client tries new ways of acting, problem-solving skills, and monitoring progress.

Christian Counseling

In my practice, I blend traditional psychological theories and interventions with integration of Christian principles and scripture to meet the unique needs of clients who are interested in Christian counseling, respecting their spiritual journey and personal beliefs.
