As a licensed Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in Social Services I am able to provide profound compassion, empathy, and relatability. I have experience working with folks from diverse populations including teenagers, college students, prenatal and postpartum, LGBQT+, adults, older adults, survivors of domestic violence, and folks experiencing new life- transitions. My specialties include but are not limited to Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, and relationship issues in families

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of who you are—not just what brings you to therapy, but your experiences, background, and the perspective that shapes how you move through the world. I take time to gather a thorough history so that I can provide care that is truly personalized and aligned with your needs, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. This process is collaborative and paced with intention. You are always in control of what you choose to share, and we will move in a way that feels respectful and comfortable for you. My aim is to create a strong foundation from the beginning so that our work together feels focused, meaningful, and tailored to support your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I want you to know that this is a space where you are encouraged to show up as your full, authentic self which included messy days, big feelings, and all. My style is both laid-back and structured: you’ll feel the ease of a calm, conversational environment, while also experiencing the clarity and direction that evidence-based therapy provides. Together, we’ll explore your goals at a pace that feels safe and doable, using approaches such as CBT, DBT skills, EMDR, ACT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies. My intention is to create an environment where you feel supported, understood, and genuinely comfortable being you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults (17+) who are open to self-exploration and ready to engage in meaningful personal growth, even if they’re unsure where to start. My ideal clients may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns they’re ready to better understand and shift. They don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to show up authentically and engage in the process. I’m a great fit for individuals who appreciate a balance of a laid-back, conversational style with structured, goal-oriented support. Clients who are open to evidence-based practices, reflective homework between sessions, and honest dialogue tend to benefit most from working with me. If you’re looking for a space that holds both depth and lightness—where growth, accountability, and even moments of laughter can coexist—we’ll likely work well together

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Depending on the client’s presenting concerns and treatment goals, I draw from several evidence-based modalities. For example, I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to encourage values-based living and mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients build on existing strengths and resources. With clients experiencing trauma, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address traumatic memories in a structured and effective way. Additionally, Motivational Interviewing (MI) has been particularly valuable in promoting readiness for change, especially among clients who may feel ambivalent about treatment. Overall, my approach is integrative and evidence-driven — I continuously assess client progress, adapt interventions based on outcomes, and stay current with emerging research to ensure best practices guide my therapeutic work
