About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my Master’s degree in 2020 from California State University, Bakersfield. I have been practicing since my second year of my program in (2018), but have been working full time for the past 4 years. My main work has been individuals as various life stages; I have focused more on supporting young adults navigate through life transitions, identity struggles, and past trauma.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first sessions, clients can expect some information sharing. It may feel like answering a list of questions, however the questions are intended to help formulate a plan to best help support the clients. I will also share about my experience and therapeutic work to help client determine if they feel like we will work well together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel that what has helped me work well with my clients has been my ability to connect with them and provide a safe space for them to explore their emotions without feeling judged. I work on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with clients because I think it’s one of the most important things in the therapeutic setting.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked with young adults who are wanting to explore past experiences with parents that have impacted their self-image and helped them explore patterns and how to set boundaries and develop healthy relationships. I have also worked with young adults transitioning into new career or college and helped navigate anxieties as well as process where the pressure and expectations stem from.
