About me

I have worked with adults and children for about 49 years. I get great satisfaction in working together with my client's to achieve a better quality of life. If you struggle with managing anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms you are not alone and I would love to attempt to help. We can work together to find solutions to the challenges you face!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session my goal is for us to get to know one another. I would like to hear about the challenges you are facing and what has and has not worked for you in the past. After hearing your story, we will discuss my recommendations and answer any questions you might have.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is that I care. I believe that my life experiences, education and training allow me to help others enjoy an improved quality of life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is helpful for many people who have experienced trauma and/or struggle with traumatic memory from the past that still disturbs us today. EMDR is also helpful for many people with anxiety, depression and PTSD symptoms. EMDR is convenient for many people because in can be done in a secure on-line portal as well as in person.

Biofeedback

Another service we provide in our clinic is IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN). Many of our clients have reported significant improvement of their anxiety and depression symptoms as well as improvements in sleep and emotional regulation.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We provide mindfulness training to our clients to not only improve self-awareness but to gain greater control of our mind and body.

Trauma Informed Care

I have worked with those who experienced trauma for 48 years. It is difficult to live in this world without being traumatized. It is clear that adverse childhood experiences often have a profound impact on our physical, emotional and psychological development as well as long range health outcomes. Trauma can also have an equally profound impact on adults. There are quite a number of strategies that can help to reduce that negative impact. You are not alone.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a method of assisting clients in identifying cognitive distortions, evaluate their validity and replace with more accurate beliefs about self and others.
