LPC, 6 years of experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas, Utah, and Washington. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including outpatient counseling, inpatient psychiatric care, and nonprofit community mental health. I have provided therapeutic services in both individual and group formats and have also served as an outpatient assessment counselor. These diverse experiences have equipped me to support clients from a wide range of backgrounds and presenting concerns.
In our first session together, my goal is to get to know you—your story, your concerns, and what brings you to therapy. We'll explore what you're hoping to gain from this experience and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and achievable to you. I’ll also share how my expertise can support your needs, and together we’ll discuss the focus and direction of therapy. This session is a collaborative starting point where we build a foundation of trust, set clear expectations, and ensure that our work aligns with your unique circumstances and goals.
In our work together, I draw from a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs. I use strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy techniques to support practical problem-solving and forward momentum. As a clinician, I bring expertise in behavior and therapeutic strategies but I recognize that you are the expert on your own life. By combining our strengths, we’ll collaborate to set meaningful goals and work toward lasting, achievable change.
As a therapist I integrate evidence-based approaches to help clients create lasting change. I am a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), which allows me to offer specialized support for individuals struggling with emotional regulation, past trauma, and interpersonal challenges. These therapeutic frameworks provide practical skills and deeper insight to help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values. I’m committed to helping you build a life worth living—one step at a time.
I am best positioned to support individuals and families who are navigating life transitions, managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder, or working through challenges related to family conflict. My experience across both outpatient and inpatient settings has equipped me to help clients facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. I work well with individuals who are ready to explore their inner experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to continue your growth, I offer a safe, supportive space to help you reach your personal and relational goals.
