Hi! First off, congratulations in taking this first step, it takes a lot to seek help and I am here to help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based on the border of Texas and New Mexico, with the ability to work in both states. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and have been practicing since 2018, specializing in depression, anxiety, personality disorders and trauma.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and the expectations we both have for ourselves in this new relationship. We will also dive into the issues at hand while exploring past experiences that have led to issues or aided in coping with similar situations.
Having worked with individuals with different backgrounds I have been able to develop and modify common modalities to fit individual needs. I have been able to provide perspectives to others and develop insight into their own individual issues.
I love to work with people of all backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities. Even though i tend to work with people from different backgrounds adults and teenagers tend to gravitate to me.
I utilize this effective treatment approach for a range of mental and emotional health issues, including anxiety and depression. With CBT I attempt to aim to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies.
