New to Grow
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual and group therapy for adults experiencing relationship challenges, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm and major life transitions. I help clients identify patterns that keep them stuck, strengthen boundaries and build practical coping strategies that support meaningful lasting change. My approach is structured, supportive and nonjudgmental. I offer Christian based counseling as an option for clients who wish to integrate faith into their work.
In your first session, we will spend time getting a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, goals you want to work towards so we can begin to identify what support will be most helpful for you. We will also discuss confidentiality and what to expect in our work going forward. This is collaborative space and our first meeting is also an opportunity for you to ensure that my approach feels like the right fit for your needs.
My approach is structured, collaborative and focused on practical change. I integrate psychoeducation with evidence-based skills to help clients understand patterns in relationships, emotional responses and behavior. In session, we work on identifying unhelpful cycles, building healthier boundaries and developing coping strategies that can be applied in daily life. Clients often report improved emotional clarity, improved emotional regulation and healthier relationship choices over time.
I am best positioned to work with adults who are navigating relationship challenges, grief and loss, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, struggle with boundaries or are working to rebuild their sense of self after emotionally difficult experiences. I work best with individuals who are motivated for change and open to a structured, goal-oriented approach that combines insight with practical tools. I also offer group therapy for those seeking support around grief or relationship recovery and Christian-based counseling is available for clients who wish to incorporate their faith.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a practical, structured approach to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. In my work, I focus on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, especially in the context of relationships, stress and life transitions, and helping client reframe these patterns in a more balances and realistic way. I incorporate skill-building strategies such as cognitive restructuring, boundary setting and behavioral changes that clients can apply outside of sessions. My goal is to help clients develop insight along with concrete tolls that lead to measurable, lasting change.
Integrative
I use an integrative approach, drawing from cognitive behavioral attachment-based and mindfulness-based therapies to meet each client's individual needs. I tailor treatment based on the client's goals, focusing on identifying patterns in relationships and emotional responses, while also building practical coping skills and strategies for change. This flexible approach allows me to provide both insight and structured, goal-ooriented work that supports meaningful, lasting approach.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationship experiences and past patterns influence their current relationships, emotional responses and sense of self. I focus on identifying patterns such as people-pleasing, difficulty with boundaries and fear of conflict or abandonment and helping clients develop healthier, more secure ways of relating. This work is paired with practical strategies so clients can build stronger boundaries, improve communication and create more stable, fulfilling relationships.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions and reactions without immediately judging or reacting to them. I use mindfulness techniques to support emotional regulation, reduce reactivity and help clients stay more grounded in the present moment. This approach is especially helpful in managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions. It is often combined with practical strategies to support lasting change.
Christian Counseling
I offer Christian, or faith based, counseling for clients who would like to incorporate their faith into the therapy process. This may include exploring how spiritual beliefs influence thoughts, emotions and life decisions, as well as integrating prayer, Scripture and faith-based perspectives when appropriate. My approach remains supportive and nonjudgmental, and clients are always free to determine the level of faith integration in their care.
