Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master's from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2013. For the past 12 years I have been helping individuals and couples move towards wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability and spiritual maturity. I strongly believe in increasing awareness of Spirituality as a potential resource in the wellness of mental health and in the process of counseling.
In our first session each individual will describe their concerns and what they believe should be the outcome of the therapeutic process. We will identify goals and establish a plan of action to achieve these goals.
I am a professional Christian Therapist, personally devoted, deeply committed, spirit-guided servant of Christ; a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
I love working with couples who are commited to making their marriage work. They are open to learn about their communication style and make adjustments that will benefit the relationship. My clients are eager to improve but many times don't have the rights tools to reach this goal. My clients learn to communicate for connection instead of communicating for competition and criticism.
This therapy approach recognizes that early attachment experiences can influence an individual's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and aims to help people understand and change these patterns if need be.
