My passion is people and I am most curious about what makes us who we are. I have been in the field of mental health for 20 years and I have worked with an array of clients. The most effective work comes from those clients that are not afraid to be vulnerable, to self reflect and to do the work.
Our first session is just a warm up , a way to get a feel for the compatibility and of course to listen to the reasons why you sought talk therapy. We will talk about goals and expectations too!
My "superpower" is being able to listen for what is not being said.
Working with clients that want more than just talk but who also want to get curious about themselves and be willing to do the work that helps them change. To grow you have to get uncomfortable because that is the only way change occurs.

Polyvagal Therapy
In session I integrate principles from Polyvagal Theory to help you, the client to better understand their nervous system and how it shapes emotions, relationships and stress responses. We will explore simple practices that include breathwork, grounding exercises along with other somatic practices. Clients frequently report feeling more empowered after understanding their own stress response as they navigate the world.
Psychodynamic
It is my belief that understanding how our early relationships and unconscious patterns influence our current emotions and behaviors. By reflecting on past experiences, and noticing patterns one can bring in the unconscious state to a state of awareness that clients share provides better insight and emotional clarity.

I was drawn to her by her smile on her profile picture and her bio. I felt that she may be a right fit based on her knowledge and approach. Our first session was very insightful and she made me feel comfortable and safe in opening up.
