Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Florida, Tennessee and Maryland. I graduated with both a bachelors and masters degree in Social work from Florida International University and have more than 17 years of psychotherapy experience. I am a trauma therapist, trained in EMDR and hold specialized training in First Responder Trauma. I work to help patients identify trauma triggers that may be negatively impacting their daily life.
In our first session together we will work through a standard assessment that will allow us to talk through many aspects of your life and open a natural dialogue of who you are and what you would like to work through in therapy.
Having been trained in EMDR and specialized First Responder trauma training I have experience in helping patients of all ages work through anxiety and other debilitating responses to trauma to find peace in their every day lives.
I enjoy working with adults young and old, helping them work through potential traumas that have held them back from living a life freed from worry and anxious thoughts.
I am trained in EMDR and utilize EMDR combined with somatic processing to help patients work through past traumas.
As a Christian I can offer supportive encouragement from a Christian perspective during treatment.
I utilize CBT to help patients understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions.
Trained in MI I utilize it as needed to help patients work through conflict.
