I grew up in Florida, splitting my time between video games and exploring the coast for jellyfish, crabs, and manatees. I struggled with focus early on, until I started treatment for ADHD in college and things shifted. That experience drives how I work now. I help people who know they’re capable but feel inconsistent build systems that actually work and move toward the life they want in a real, sustainable way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Early on, we’ll get clear on what’s helped before and what hasn’t so this actually feels useful from the start. We’ll map what’s keeping you stuck and what you want to change. My style is conversational but direct, I won’t just listen, I’ll help you spot patterns and give you something practical to work with. We’ll focus on self-compassion, emotional acceptance, and small changes that fit your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m a person first, and my work is deeply client-centered. You help shape how we work together within reason. I’ll check in on how this feels and push you to be honest about what’s working and what isn’t. That’s not just about better therapy, it builds the skills to advocate for yourself, set boundaries, and relate to others in a more real, effective way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who are self-aware but feel stuck actually changing things. You might struggle with ADHD, inconsistency, overthinking, or knowing what to do but not doing it. I’m especially passionate about working with diverse identities, it’s one of my main specialties. I help clients explore, accept, and make sense of who they are without forcing themselves into roles that don’t fit. If you want therapy that’s real, direct, and actually helps you move forward, we’ll work well together.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I use a person-centered, relationship-focused approach that keeps therapy human and real, not overly scripted. We slow things down, make space for what you’re actually feeling, and focus on what matters to you. You’re the expert on your life, but I won’t leave you stuck in it. When things feel unclear or overwhelming, I step in with direct feedback, perspective, and guidance to help you move forward.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help you change how you relate to your thoughts and emotions, not fight them. Instead of getting stuck trying to control what shows up, we focus on accepting it and still moving in the direction you care about. I’ll help you get clear on your values and take action that aligns with them, even when your mind is loud. The shift is practical. Less pressure to “fix” yourself, more ability to handle what’s there and keep moving forward.

Interpersonal

I use an interpersonal approach to help you understand what’s actually happening in your relationships. The same patterns that show up outside often show up between us, and we can look at them in real time without judgment. I’ll be direct about what I’m noticing and help you make sense of it so you can relate differently, communicate more clearly, and build relationships that feel better and more stable.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help you get clear on what you actually want and why you feel stuck. We’ll dig into the real reasons change hasn’t happened yet without judgment, not to excuse it, but to understand it. From there, I’ll help you cut through the noise, strengthen your motivation, and take steps that feel realistic and doable so you can actually follow through.
