I love to help others reach their full potential by creating a supportive and comfortable space to be yourself and not have to perform. My specialty and experience aligns most with helping women ages 18-65, first responders and veterans. I believe in self-discovery with the understanding that learning and growth is not easy, but it is important. With over 15 years of counseling experience, my counseling style is a mix of humor, encouragement and a nonjudgmental positive empowering space.
Strengths
I am trained in EMDR, TFCBT and DBT skills. I have experience and training in supporting those with abuse history, gang history, human trafficking, SA history, complex trauma, anxiety, postpartum, and the challenges of both new and seasoned motherhood.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are open to try something new if we talk about it first together. They want to join me in creating goals and achieving them. It’s ok if you don’t know what goals at first because we can figure it out together. Clients can ask questions, share what feels comfortable. You cannot mess therapy up and I always say this to my clients. This is your therapy.
