I am a Certified Addictions and a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience helping those struggling with life challenges. I have served over 20 years in the helping profession assisting individuals with disabilities. I have over 7 years of experience working with addictive diseases and a wealth of experience working with adults with various mental health disorders in inpatient, outpatient, and group settings. I take a realistic approach to help you through life difficulties and explore ways to help you make positive and necessary changes. I utilize the eclectic approach and is well rounded in Reality, Cognitive Behavioral, and Person-Centered Therapy. My motto is "Living Life in Balance".

I have over 7 years of experience working with addictive diseases and a wealth of experience working with adults with various mental health disorders in inpatient, outpatient, and group settings.

First session

I will tell them about my practice, my modalities in treatment and go over all rules and regulations to treatment. I will then start the bio-psychosocial and assessment and rapport building process, because trust in paramount when it comes to this profession.

Strengths

My greatest strength is that I love people, and I want to see them get to the wellness they so deserve. I take a non-judgmental and empathetic approach. I also come with a lot of lived and professional experiences in order to help with most life challenges.

Ideal clients

Because I am telemedicine only, I will not be able to take patients that have severe symptoms related to any mental health disorder because and I do not get to see them face to face or help in cases of emergencies.

Keila is honestly the best. She makes me feel safe, heard, and never judged. I can talk to her about anything, and she always understands me in a way no one else does.
