New to Grow
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to stay on top of things? I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor originally from Chicago with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I work with teens and adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, low self‑esteem, and major life transitions. I specialize in helping clients improve focus, organization, and follow‑through so daily life feels more balanced and manageable. Whether you’re neurodivergent or simply feeling overloaded, I help you understand your thoughts and emotions, build tools for emotional regulation, and feel more in control, confident, and capable.
Our first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation where we explore what’s been going on, what you’d like to change, and your goals for therapy. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels clear, realistic, and tailored to your needs—so you leave feeling grounded, supported, and focused on next steps. You can expect a judgment‑free space where you can share openly, ask questions, and begin developing practical coping strategies to use in your daily life.
Clients often tell me they feel comfortable and understood quickly. I bring warmth, empathy, and structure to every session, creating a balance between emotional support and goal‑oriented progress. I specialize in breaking down big life challenges into smaller, doable steps. We work together to reduce overwhelm, strengthen executive functioning, and build confidence through consistent, real‑world changes. My approach is structured but flexible—combining evidence‑based methods like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, strength-based, and Solution‑Focused Therapy to make progress feel practical and sustainable. My goal is not just to help you understand yourself, but to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your life.
I work best with teens, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward in their daily lives. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, burnout, or low self‑esteem and are struggling with focus, organization, overthinking, or emotional overwhelm. They often want more than just a place to talk—they’re looking for practical strategies to improve their daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. My ideal clients are curious, open, and motivated to make meaningful changes, even if they’re not sure how to begin. Together, we explore your patterns, build confidence, and develop strategies that make daily life feel more organized and less stressful. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with my three parrots and my dog—they remind me daily how humor, patience, and connection can make life brighter. If you’re ready to feel more balanced, focused, and in control, I’d be honored to support you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical strategies to shift them, leading to improved mood and functioning. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s needs, with a strong focus on building skills that can be used outside of sessions.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring ambivalence and strengthening their internal motivation for change. Rather than pushing or directing, I work collaboratively with clients to identify their values, goals, and readiness for change. This approach is especially helpful for building confidence, increasing commitment, and making meaningful, self-directed progress.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, where I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients to feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth, and I work to foster a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, authenticity, and trust. This foundation allows clients to explore their experiences openly and move toward greater self-awareness and healing.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify strengths, set clear goals, and focus on what is already working in their lives. Rather than focusing heavily on problems, we work together to create practical, achievable steps toward change. This approach is efficient, empowering, and especially helpful for clients looking to see progress in a shorter period of time.
