About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with fifteen years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. My approach is warm, friendly, and authentic, grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, positive psychology, EFIT, and attachment-focused therapy. I specialize in anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, caregiver stress, and relationship issues, empowering you to achieve measurable progress through trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and consistent homework and messaging support.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll connect openly and authentically to explore what brings you here and clarify your goals. I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and strengths, listening with warmth and curiosity. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan—whether it involves CBT for anxiety management, EFIT to enhance emotional connection, or trauma-informed strategies for deeper healing—and discuss how messaging support and between-session assignments reinforce our work.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in blending structure with genuine empathy and authenticity. I offer clear, evidence-based techniques alongside a friendly, validating presence. I excel at helping couples improve communication and emotional attunement, guiding individuals through transitions with practical tools and motivational support. My trauma-informed perspective ensures sensitivity to past wounds, while my use of positive psychology fosters resilience and hope. You can count on consistent feedback, collaborative goal-setting, and personalized homework to keep you moving forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be feeling stuck in a relationship cycle, overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or struggling to adapt to a major life change such as aging or caregiving responsibilities. Whether you’re navigating peer or romantic relationship challenges, substance use concerns, or the emotional impact of life transitions, I offer a genuine, friendly therapeutic relationship built on trust. Clients who appreciate clear goals, collaborative goal-setting, and practical homework in a warm, authentic space will feel most supported here.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I help adult clients explore how their early relationship experiences shape their current patterns of connection and emotional responses with partners, family, and friends. Through our work together, clients gain insight into their attachment style and develop healthier ways of relating that lead to more secure, fulfilling relationships and improved emotional well-being.

Couples Counseling

I work with partners to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connection in a supportive, collaborative environment. Drawing on evidence-based techniques, I guide couples to understand each other’s perspectives, rebuild trust, and develop practical strategies for healthier interactions. Together, we create a shared vision for a more fulfilling, resilient relationship.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT's proven skills-based approach to help adult clients who struggle with intense emotions, relationship conflicts, or self-destructive behaviors. Together, we practice concrete techniques for managing distress, regulating emotions, and communicating more effectively, giving clients practical tools they can use immediately in their daily lives to create lasting positive change.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I help adult clients explore and understand their emotional experiences to create lasting change in how they relate to themselves and others. Through our work together, clients learn to identify and process difficult emotions safely, develop greater self-compassion, and build the emotional skills needed to form more secure, satisfying relationships and improve their overall sense of well-being.

Positive Psychology

I integrate strengths-based approaches that focus on what's working well in clients' lives, helping them identify their unique strengths and build upon existing resilience. Rather than only addressing problems, I help adult clients cultivate meaningful goals, develop gratitude practices, and create a foundation for sustained well-being and life satisfaction.
