I’m a warm, compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who works with women and adults navigating anxiety, loneliness, self-worth, relationship and family challenges, and major life transitions.

I have a strong understanding of how early trauma can shape current behaviors and thought patterns, which allows me to tailor interventions and approaches that promote healing.

My goal is to provide a space where you can feel genuinely understood, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself as you move toward what comes next

First session

Our first session is a chance to slow down and feel heard. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. We'll talk about what has been weighing on you, what you hope will change, and what you need from therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.

Strengths

I bring warmth, patience, curiosity, and genuine presence to my sessions. I take time to understand the whole person-not just the problem that brought you to therapy. I listen for the deeper patterns beneath anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship struggles while also helping you find practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and hopeful about what comes next.

Ideal clients

You may have been holding so much for so long that you don't even know where to begin. You may feel lonely, exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from yourself while carrying family concerns, relationship difficulties, health challenges, or painful experiences from the past. You may simply want someone who understands why you feel the way you do. Together, we can make sense of what you’ve been carrying, rebuild your sense of worth, and begin finding your way forward.

Treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I bring warmth, patience, curiosity, and genuine presence to my sessions. I take time to understand the whole person—not just the problem that brought you to therapy. I listen for the deeper patterns beneath anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship struggles while also helping you find practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and hopeful about what comes next.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy helps us understand the deeper patterns beneath anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, and feeling stuck. Together, we explore how earlier experiences may have shaped the way you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to life today, creating greater understanding and opportunities for change.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy helps us understand how early relationships and experiences can shape your sense of safety, trust, connection, boundaries, and self-worth. We explore patterns that may show up in your relationships today and work toward developing healthier, more secure ways of relating to yourself and others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you recognize the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may contribute to anxiety, self-criticism, or feeling stuck and practice more balanced and helpful ways of responding to everyday challenges.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

You may have been holding so much for so long that you don't even know where to begin. You may feel lonely, exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from yourself while carrying family concerns, relationship difficulties, health challenges, or painful experiences from the past. You may simply want someone who understands why you feel the way you do. Together, we can make sense of what you’ve been carrying, rebuild your sense of worth, and begin finding your way forward.

Anuja first impression is kindness just from her smile. With only one session with her I feel the potential creation of a wonderful therapist and client relationship in the making.

Anuja is very smart and perceptive and can help you pick apart your problem and come up with everyday solutions that will make a real difference. I have been through therapy before and never got very far but three sessions with her has really helped. I highly recommend.
