(he/him)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience working with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I believe therapy works best when clients feel understood, respected, and supported. I strive to create a space where individuals can feel safe being themselves while learning skills to navigate life's challenges. I am bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
The first session focusses on introductions, reviewing confidentiality, understanding what brings you to therapy, and beginning to identify goals. We'll move at a comfortable pace and work collaboratively to support your needs.
I approach therapy with an understanding of how life experiences shape behavior and emotions, focusing, on safety, empowerment, and collaboration. I provide therapy in both Spanish and English and I am attentive to cultural context, family dynamics, and identity when supporting clients and families.
I work best with adolescents and young adults who are trying to make sense of who they are and where they’re going. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to navigate relationships, family expectations, or major life transitions. As a bilingual therapist, I also support individuals who want a space that understands the cultural layers that shape their experiences. My approach is grounded, direct, and supportive—I help clients not only talk through challenges but also develop practical tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a highly effective, structured, and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy used to treat anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. By focusing on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, it helps individuals identify and replace negative, irrational thought patterns with healthier ones. It is preferred for being short-term (12-20 weeks) and practical.
Reality Therapy
Reality therapy is used to empower individuals to take control of their lives by focusing on present behaviors, personal responsibility, and making better choices to meet their needs. Based on Choice Theory, it is highly effective for improving relationships, addressing addiction, and fostering self-confidence through practical, action-oriented planning.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Culturally Sensitive Therapy (also called culturally responsive or multicultural therapy) is an approach to counseling that actively respects, understands, and integrates a client’s cultural background into the therapeutic process.
