Do you struggle with people-pleasing, low self-worth, or painful relationships that leave you feeling like you’ve lost yourself? Maybe you grew up in a family that looked “fine” on the outside but left you with invisible scars of trauma. You might find yourself replaying old patterns—turning to food, restriction, or overexercise to cope, feeling guilty when you try to set boundaries, or wondering why you keep choosing partners who don’t treat you well. If you’re exhausted from trying to hold it all together while doubting yourself inside, therapy can help you finally break free.
In our first session, we’ll slow down and explore what’s bringing you here—whether it’s anxiety, depression, a breakup, stress around relationships, or wanting clarity about a possible diagnosis. I’ll ask about your current challenges, your history, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, but you don’t need to have everything figured out. This is a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more hopeful that things can get better.
My greatest strength is helping clients go deeper in conversations to uncover what’s really beneath the surface. I connect especially well with teens and women who have always felt a little different or on the outside. As a secular, non-religious therapist, I create a space free of judgment or expectations—you can curse, ugly cry, or show up in three-day-old clothes, and you’ll still be accepted. I’ll meet you exactly where you’re at. And while I do have a lot of really cool advanced trainings—like DBT, EMDR, and Schema Therapy—what clients tell me matters most is that they feel safe, understood, and supported in our work together.
I’m a great fit for teens and young adult women who want a safe space to process daily stress, relationships, and food/body concerns. Many of my clients feel like they “look fine” on the outside but inside are: ✨ Constantly overthinking and struggling to turn their brain off ✨ Stuck in unhealthy or confusing relationship patterns ✨ Feeling stressed about food, body image, or control ✨ Juggling school, work, and expectations that feel overwhelming ✨ Exhausted from being so hard on themselves all the time ✨Not actually "fine" ✨I also support clients who have felt misunderstood in past therapy, including those navigating OCD, BPD, or disordered eating. Finding the right therapist matters. Here’s what I bring to our work together: 🌿 Advanced Training — Certified in DBT (C-DBT), trained in EMDR, and experienced in Schema Therapy to support lasting change. 🌿 Compassion + Honesty — I balance warmth with structure, offering a space where you feel truly heard and guided with practical tools. 🌿 Real Consistency — I believe growth happens with regular sessions, so I commit to clients who are ready to invest in themselves. 🌿 Specialized Support — I have experience helping teens & young women navigate anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, BPD, and OCD. 🌿 A Space That Gets It — Many clients tell me they finally feel understood after past therapy left them unseen.
My Experience With Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): I am certified in DBT through Evergreen C-DBT and have extensive experience helping clients who feel overwhelmed by emotions or stuck in cycles of reactivity, anxiety, or self-criticism. Many of the young women I work with come to therapy feeling “too sensitive” or “too much,” often struggling in relationships or under the pressure of perfectionism. DBT gives us a structured set of skills—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—that I teach and practice with clients in real time. Together, we build tools to pause before spiraling, communicate more effectively, and ride out painful emotions without shutting down or turning to harmful coping. I’ve seen DBT transform clients’ ability to trust themselves and feel more in control of their lives. My Experience With Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT): I also have training in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), which is designed for people who struggle not with “too much” emotion, but with “too much” control. Many of my clients with eating disorders, chronic perfectionism, or medical trauma relate strongly to overcontrol—feeling rigid, emotionally reserved, or disconnected even when they’re doing “everything right.” RO-DBT helps loosen those patterns by teaching openness, self-compassion, and authentic emotional expression. In practice, I guide clients through skills to soften perfectionism, embrace flexibility, and build deeper connections with others. For those coping with chronic illness or pain, this approach can also make space for self-kindness and adaptability in the face of limitations. I’ve found RO-DBT especially powerful for clients who have felt unseen or isolated, helping them reclaim both freedom and connection.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is about understanding the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. When you’re going through anxiety, depression, chronic illness, or life transitions, it’s easy to fall into patterns of self-blame or worry that make everything feel heavier. In CBT, we slow down and look at those patterns together—not to judge or “fix” you, but to help you make sense of why you feel the way you do. By bringing awareness to the stories you tell yourself, you begin to see new possibilities and feel more in control of your life. CBT helps you step back from harsh self-criticism and find a more compassionate, balanced perspective.
I sometimes integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into therapy to help clients process painful memories and reduce the emotional intensity tied to them. EMDR allows us to work through past experiences in a safe, structured way, so they feel less overwhelming and less defining. Many clients find that EMDR helps them move forward with more freedom, self-compassion, and confidence.
I have specialized training and experience using Schema Therapy, a powerful treatment for people who feel stuck in the same painful patterns no matter how hard they try to change. Many of my clients come in feeling weighed down by self-criticism, relationship struggles, or cycles with food and self-doubt that don’t seem to go away. Schema Therapy helps uncover where these patterns began—often in childhood—and gives us a roadmap for healing. In sessions, I guide clients to notice when old beliefs such as “I’m not good enough,” “People will always leave,” or “I have to be perfect to be loved” show up in daily life. We then work together to challenge and soften these beliefs through practical skills, self-compassion, and experiential techniques like imagery and inner child work. My goal is to help you not only understand where your struggles come from, but also create new, healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and connecting—so you can move forward with more confidence, freedom, and authenticity.
I typically use a blend of therapy styles and tailor my approach to you!

Zoe is amazing. She is a great listener who genuinely cares for her clients and finds working solutions or exercises to help me navigate what ever problems or issues I am having.

Zoe makes me feel like the things I'm dealing with our mine and they are not wrong. That is very important to me due to feelings of "being different" because of things beyond my control and the fallout of how I internalized trauma. I am learning to honor myself wherever I am in any given moment.

I originally selected Zoe because I felt that she seemed authentic and empowering. She has been a phenomenal fit for me. She is excellent at pushing me when needed, but also being so understanding and validating. I never feel judged by Zoe. I feel as though I have grown so much in a short time with Zoe. I highly recommend Zoe, she is such a safe space.
