I've worked in a variety of settings over the course of 20 years to include public education and foster care. During my time in the school system, I quickly realized that one of my passions is working with teens and young adults during times of transition and growth. During my journey, I also learned that I loved working one-on-one with people regardless of age, helping to discover their truest potential and path in life. These experiences has shaped me into a more caring, compassionate clinical social worker who is client centered and rooted in a strengths perspective.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will us come up with a plan to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have had a variety of experiences of the past 20 years as a social worker that has helped shape me as a clinician today. My greatest strength is being able to create a safe, secure and trusting therapeutic environment which allows us to develop a good rapport. This is extremely helpful as it we work together to develop goals and interventions tailored to your specific needs.
