I started my journey as an undergraduate at Cal State Long Beach and completed my studies in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2010 at the University of Phoenix. Everyone deals with their own struggles in life and mine led me on this path of helping others. I’m a firm believer that personal growth is a lifelong journey and I’m passionate about helping others that are ready to start that process and share the knowledge and experience that I have learned along the way.
Patient will receive limits of confidentiality, general information about treatment process, setting therapy goals, self care. Access for safety. Discuss current sleep, nutrition and exercise goals/progress and current expectations including past therapy experience
During my 8 years of practice I have been compassionate, empathetic, respectful and focused on working collaboratively to set SMART achievable goals
. I use evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage thoughts, feelings, and responses. I also use Solution Focused, Narrative, Mindfulness, Humanistic, and Gestalt Therapy to help connect with clients. My approach is eclectic. It is designed to help meet people where they are and to help uncover hidden blocks that may minimize growth and foster fear. I help my clients with techniques that foster awareness and personal development while being able to remain present to challenge automatic negative thoughts that may inhibit personal growth.
