Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), US Air Force veteran, and graduate of UT Arlington’s School of Social Work. I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths and navigate the challenges life can bring. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable expressing your true self. My goal is to walk alongside you as you learn and develop healthy coping skills that empower you to face life’s difficulties with resilience and confidence. Together, we will work to uncover your unique strengths and build a foundation of support, so you can feel confident in your ability to handle whatever life throws your way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming, open, and non-judgmental space where we begin to get to know each other. This initial meeting is a chance for us to explore what brought you here, discuss your goals for therapy, and identify any immediate concerns or challenges you’re facing. I will ask questions about your background, your current situation, and what you hope to achieve, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with at any point. We’ll also talk about how we can work together, including the frequency of sessions, confidentiality, and any concerns you might have about the process. My goal for this first session is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we start our journey toward your personal growth and healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Seven years ago, I began my career in Social Work, driven by a passion to assist with healing, providing support, and uplift others. In that time, I’ve learned that one of my greatest strengths as a mental health provider is my ability to genuinely connect with people, particularly teens and young adults. Establishing trust is a cornerstone of this work, and I take pride in creating a space where individuals feel safe to share their thoughts and experiences without judgment. Empathy is at the heart of my practice. I believe in not only listening to what someone says but truly understanding their feelings, experiences, and struggles. By deeply attuning myself to their emotions, I can better guide them toward healing and growth. I also believe that every therapist should be patient, nonjudgmental, and open-minded, and I’ve worked hard to embody these qualities. The ability to remain present with someone, to respect their pace, and to offer validation and support at every step is essential. My role is not to fix people but to empower them, helping them uncover their inner strengths and develop tools for navigating life’s challenges. The trust, empathy, and dedication I bring to my work are the foundation of the supportive and healing relationships I strive to build with each person I serve.
