New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who helps individuals and families navigate stress, trauma, and life transitions with compassion and practical tools. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when you feel seen, safe, and supported. I bring clinical expertise, lived experience, and real understanding to the work we do together. I am looking forward to be alongside you in your journey.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and current concerns, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Together, we’ll begin to set goals and create a plan for how we can work toward them. My priority is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a sense of direction.
What makes my approach unique is the balance of warmth, cultural awareness, and practical tools I bring into sessions. I specialize in trauma-informed care and help clients feel safe exploring the deeper roots of their struggles while also giving them actionable strategies they can use in daily life. Clients often share that my style feels both compassionate and empowering—I won’t just listen, I’ll actively support you in making real changes.
I love working with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like they’ve been carrying too much for too long. Whether it’s anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or the impact of trauma, I create a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone. My ideal clients are ready to explore new perspectives, learn coping strategies, and take steps—big or small—toward healing and wholeness.
I use CBT to help clients notice how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. In sessions, we break down unhelpful patterns together and build practical tools that make life feel lighter and more manageable. My goal is for clients to leave with strategies they can actually use day to day—whether that’s calming anxiety, challenging self-doubt, or creating new habits that support healing.
I use ACT to help clients build a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions instead of constantly battling them. Together, we focus on what matters most—your values—and practice skills to move toward a more meaningful, balanced life. ACT blends mindfulness with action, which means you’ll learn how to accept what you can’t control while still creating the life you want.
