Hi there, I am Lucia. Are you perceiving your sensitivity as negative? I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist. I am trained in different mental health modalities and approaches to help you accept and embrace your authentic self. I will help you have more clarity and a better understanding about the challenges that you are currently facing. You will learn to integrate coping strategies to make the shift and remove each layer of fear that has been planted in you and led to chaos. Evidence-based practice modalities along with holistic approaches can help you regulate your nervous system, learn more about your emotions and manage depressive symptoms to find opportunities of self-grow in the process.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we start a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges and intention of starting this journey. We will start exploring together your treatment goals and your commitment to embark on this process. I will create a warm and trusting space in which you can be your authentic self.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Cognitive behavior therapy, Conscious parenting, Somatic interventions, Mindfulness, and Inner child work.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has helped clients have better understanding of their limited beliefs, that has led to the used of survival skills that make them react rather respond.

Somatic

The somatic experience approach helps clients to have a better understanding of their body sensations and how their emotions are manifested through the body. I am currently in training to become a Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner which is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach created by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. As a trauma-informed therapist I am always learning and integrating different trauma intervention approaches including Internal family system, somatic experiencing, polyvagal focus theory to provide better service and support.
