Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! My name is Tanya, and I am passionate about mental health and serving those who are brave enough to seek support, and I enjoy working with individuals who have the desire to grow as a person. I believe there is great strength in vulnerability. I seek to support you with cultivating grace towards yourself, through exploring what factors have contributed to your struggle with feelings of fear, unworthiness or chronic worry. I believe that you hold the wisdom you are seeking, and I will support you in channeling that. I utilize various evidence-based and mind/body techniques to best serve your individual needs. I am paneled with most commercial insurances and offer virtual therapy sessions to increase access to care, and to provide schedule flexibility. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be spent really getting to know you. I will ask you questions to get a clear understanding of what troubles you the most, and together we will collaborate on identifying your goals for your therapy journey. Together, we can address any worries you have about starting, and what you are hoping to get from our sessions. That way, I can develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

As human beings, I believe it is our deepest need to feel seen and heard in this loud world. I strive to provide you with the emotional safety to explore and express your inner world. As we build trust in our therapeutic relationship, I will guide you towards shifting your mindset from a space of lack towards one of gratitude and abundance. Through my clinical observation, I will empower you to identify and challenge any unhelpful subconscious beliefs that are likely preventing you from enjoying this human experience to it's fullest.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Tanya utilizes the practice of mindfulness to support her clients with tapping into their own inner peace. Her warm presence provides her clients with the safety to explore how their past hurts are impacting their current experience. She lives by the mentality that you cannot change that which you are not aware of.

Grief Therapy

Tanya recognizes that grief is a part of the human experience, and that none of us are exempt from the pain of loss. She will accompany you on your unique journey, and support you every step of the way.

Compassion Focused

Tanya knows the pain of living with a low self-esteem, yet she also understands the power of self-compassion. She believes that in cultivating a true sense of compassion for ourselves, we have the capacity to improve our overall well-being, while also supporting the collective.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Tanya believes that you are the wisest person you know. While it is our greatest human need to feel seen and accepted, Tanya understands that this has unfortunately not been everyone's experience. By gifting this to you, she will assist you in reframing your perspective, shifting from a space of disempowerment towards one of empowerment.

Tanya empowers her clients to live more consciously, and supports them with identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and beliefs that prevent them from living a fulfilling life. Tanya will journey with you, uncovering coping strategies that perhaps supported you in childhood, but are no longer helpful. She will help you cultivate a tool box of positive coping skills to support your highest, most authentic self expression .
