Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy based in California. I have been a practicing clinician for 3.5 years and I've worked in the Mental Health field for a total of 11 years. My approach is eclectic; I work primarily from a modern Psychodynamic Therapy approach and implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies. I believe that by ‘making the unconscious, conscious’ and better understanding the “why” we can then take actionable steps to create positive change. I believe we all have the essential tools within ourselves needed to build a better and safer space, a place where we can flourish into the people we always thought we could be. At times, we may find ourselves feeling lost in the midst of our daily functions, perhaps even feeling hopeless or chaotic. As an empathic and non-judgmental listener, I am up for the task of helping you uncover those tools. Let’s get you there. You are your own greatest strength.
I like to start my first sessions with brief introductions then move into identifying any difficulties you are facing. I ask questions about you and gather information to help create a game plan and goals for us to address in future sessions.
I aim to guide clients towards a path of self-empowerment and self-discovery.
We're all connected; In therapy, I believe some of the most long-lasting change occurs from introspection and addressing the interpersonal relational dynamics in our lives.
Let's look at your past and how you established your initial attachments in life in order to better address what's ahead.
If you're more analytical, a straight shooter, if you will, this method of therapy can help directly address the causation of the behaviors and patterns negatively affecting your life.
Interpersonal relational dynamics are important; I focus on uncovering the problems affecting your dynamic and implementing healthy behavioral patterns and communication skills that you can use to move forward as a healthy couple.
