I currently live in Texas and am licensed in Texas and Wisconsin. I enjoy a great variety of interests so it may be easiest to say I have a great appreciation for most things. Many people would describe me as having a great sense of humor and I do enjoy laughing and love hearing the laughter of others; In the very moment we laugh, for that brief instant, we forget all of our problems and find joy. It may be difficult to remain there, but if we can find if for one moment, we can find it each day. I specialize in client-focused therapy, existential psychotherapy, and mindfulness to help you find your way and explore what is meaningful to you. Website: https://begoodtomyself.com
During our first appointment I will work with you by listening to your concerns, getting to know who you are as a person, and work to discover what your own goals are. My work is to listen, support, guide you and provide educated feedback on how we can develop a clear plan to help you heal and achieve your goals.
Treatment is best suited for trauma, complicated grief, anxiety, addictions, phobias, and many other struggles where we simply need to sit with someone and figure out what is going on. I find the most important strength I have is to simply be present with you.
Existential Psychotherapy is a method of treatment grounded in existential philosophy. In our human existence, we may feel alone, experience life events that make us question self and the meaning of life, desire to find a more purposeful existence and seek peace in a world where so much around us seems to interfere with our understanding of who we really are. This method is interactive, provides a safe space with the freedom to say anything without fear of judgment, and supports you in working to process your thoughts and feelings without feeling more traumatized by sharing.
