LCSW, 12 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello, my name is Brendette, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals on their path to healing and growth. My work is grounded in empathy, compassion, and inclusiveness, and I believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. My approach is both goal-oriented and person-centered. I often work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and I use evidence-based techniques to help them find healthier ways to cope and move forward. Together, we focus on building on your strengths while developing tools that will support long-term change.
You’ll find a welcoming space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the goals you’d like to work toward, and any concerns you may have. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your background and experiences so I can better understand your needs. From there, we’ll begin creating a personalized plan that feels supportive and realistic for you.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, affirming environment where you feel comfortable opening up. I listen with care, validate your experiences, and help you see possibilities for growth. Clients often tell me they appreciate my balance of compassion and structure — I’m here to support you while also encouraging meaningful progress.
I work especially well with people who are motivated to explore their strengths and take meaningful steps toward growth. Many of my clients are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, and they are seeking healthier coping skills, improved emotional regulation, and greater self-esteem. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you take these important steps.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice and integrate additional treatment methods as necessary. Throughout our sessions, we will examine how your thoughts impact your emotional experiences and develop strategies to help you stay grounded.
