Hi! I'm Nick! I am an LCSW practicing therapy in the state of Indiana. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and much more. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. I have been trained in various treatment models including CBT, DBT, Grief Therapy, SFBT, TF-CBT, FCT, MI, and TBRI.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will go over some background information and then discuss what brought you to therapy. From there, we will create a plan to get you working towards where you want to be. You will get the chance to ask any questions and express any thoughts or fears you have with the therapy process.

In therapy, I strive to create an environment that is open, accepting, and empowering. I want you to feel comfortable and find strength during our sessions. I also want to come alongside you to help you, not just tell you what to do. Often you will find you had the answers all along.

I have experience working with many different types of clients. I have worked with individuals of all ages and of diverse backgrounds. I work with adults, children, teens, the elderly, couples, and family units. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and much more.

With CBT, we will focus on current problems and difficulties and look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will identify the problems areas/behaviors in your life and develop strategies to address them.

Faith based therapy

In utilizing faith based therapy, we can integrate religious and spiritual principles into the therapeutic process. This will allow you to find healing, guidance, and support through your faith.

Grief Therapy

Leaning to cope with loss and navigating the grieving process can be extremely difficult. With grief therapy, we will focus on processing of emotions, moving through the stages of grief, and finding meaning in the loss.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

With Solution Focused Treatment, we can aim towards the future rather than dwelling over the past. With this treatment method, I will help you set future goals and plans to achieve those goals, create more purposeful and positive habits, and help you reframe situations in a more positive light.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have worked with many individuals in my career in processing trauma. With TF-CBT, I can help you build coping skills, understand how your trauma has affected you, process through the trauma cognitively, and help you transform into a future of healing from that trauma.
