Your first therapy session is a safe space to begin your healing journey without judgment or pressure. During our time together, we will explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will take time to understand your emotional experiences, relationships, stressors, patterns, strengths, and personal history while creating an environment where you feel supported, heard, and emotionally safe. The first session is not about having all the answers—it is about building connection, trust, and understanding. Together, we will begin identifying patterns that may be impacting your wellbeing while exploring tools and approaches that can support your healing, growth, and emotional balance. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, empowered, and hopeful as we begin the process of creating meaningful and lasting change.
The strengths I bring into sessions include compassion, authenticity, emotional attunement, and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I approach therapy with empathy and nonjudgment while helping clients explore difficult emotions, life experiences, and relational patterns at a pace that feels emotionally safe and manageable. I bring a holistic and trauma-informed perspective that integrates emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and practical coping strategies to support healing and growth. My approach balances warmth and accountability by helping clients build insight, strengthen self-awareness, develop healthier patterns, and reconnect with their inner resilience, self-trust, and overall wellbeing.
I am best positioned to support individuals who are ready to deepen their self-awareness, heal emotional wounds, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-worth struggles, people-pleasing patterns, emotional overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation. My approach is especially supportive for individuals seeking a holistic and compassionate space that integrates emotional healing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, self-reflection, and practical coping tools. I help clients who feel stuck in survival patterns reconnect with their voice, boundaries, confidence, and inner sense of safety while supporting long-term emotional growth, resilience, and personal transformation

Mind-body approach
My mind-body approach to therapy recognizes the deep connection between emotional wellbeing, physical health, and nervous system functioning. Stress, trauma, anxiety, and life experiences are not only carried mentally and emotionally, but can also be stored within the body. Through a holistic and trauma-informed lens, I help clients increase awareness of how their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behavioral patterns are interconnected. This approach integrates emotional processing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, grounding techniques, breathwork, somatic awareness, and practical coping strategies to support healing from both the inside out and the outside in. My goal is to help clients feel more emotionally balanced, physically grounded, self-aware, and connected to themselves while building healthier patterns that support long-term wellbeing and resilience.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
My mindfulness-based therapy approach helps individuals develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation through present-moment awareness and intentional healing practices. Using a holistic and trauma-informed lens, I support clients in learning how to slow down, observe thoughts and emotions without judgment, reduce stress, and reconnect with their mind and body. This approach integrates mindfulness techniques, grounding practices, breathwork, and emotional awareness to support healing, resilience, inner peace, and healthier daily functioning.
Faith based therapy
My faith-based therapy approach integrates emotional healing with spiritual support to help individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater hope, clarity, and inner peace. Through a compassionate and holistic lens, therapy may incorporate prayer, spiritual reflection, values-based guidance, and emotional processing while honoring each client’s personal relationship with faith. Together, we work to strengthen emotional wellness, rebuild self-worth, process trauma and stress, and cultivate healing, purpose, and deeper connection to self, faith, and overall wellbeing.
Relational
My relational therapy approach for individuals focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences, attachment wounds, trauma, and nervous system patterns impact their relationship with themselves and others. Through a holistic, trauma-informed approach, I integrate emotional awareness, somatic healing, self-reflection, and nervous system regulation to support deeper healing and personal growth. Together, we work to identify unhealthy relational patterns, strengthen self-worth, improve boundaries and communication, and build healthier ways of connecting—while fostering greater self-trust, emotional safety, and authenticity.
Trauma-Focused CBT
My Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) approach supports individuals in understanding how trauma impacts thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the nervous system. Using a compassionate, trauma-informed lens, I help clients identify and reframe unhealthy thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and process difficult experiences in a safe and supportive environment. This approach integrates mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and practical tools to support healing, resilience, self-awareness, and long-term emotional wellness.

For a first session, I felt an immediate connection. I have been putting this off for a while and knew it was time, and quickly realized I made the right choice. She was warm and empowering. I could tell she was listening and actually hearing me. I look forward to what is to come.
