In our first sessions, the client and clinician will get an understanding of whether there is a good fit.
The types of therapy that I specialize in include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psycho-Education, Solution-Focused-Brief Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also utilize art therapy for clients who express themselves best in that area (often with teens and children.)
As a case manager in a shelter, I was often the one who took on cases others were not able to deal with. My niche is working with clients in crisis or with similar concerns that may lead to a crisis. I specialize in dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar and PTSD. I also work with teens and children dealing with similar extreme mental health issues.
