Welcome! I am licensed to provide therapy in the states of North Carolina and Florida. I have 6+ years experience as a therapist and 10+ years experience working in the mental health field. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based strategies. My approach to therapy is warm and collaborative. My goal is to support you in finding ways to manage stress and discover the tools you need to navigate life. Currently, services are only being offered online via a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Together, we'll explore ways to quiet the self-doubt, ease anxiety, and build emotional resilience in a way that feels safe and supportive. My treatment style is rooted in a person centered approach where the client’s strengths and interests are identified and utilized. The first session will consist of biopsychosocial assessment which will help us have a full scope of all things contributing to the issue as well as potential resources.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe in creating an environment that is safe, non-judgmental and nurturing, which has been a crucial part of my practice and my patients' success and progress.
You don't have to carry everything alone- I'm here to help.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with highly sensitive people (HSPs), those struggling with anxiety, and individuals that feel emotionally fragile or misunderstood. If you feel deeply, overthink everything, or get overwhelmed easily, you're not alone. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space while tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs. I provide trauma-informed care to adults of all ages seeking to stop being trapped in the pain of the past.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Clients are encouraged to explore the relationship of their thoughts to their feelings and behaviors. “All limits exist in the mind, and it is only in the mind that they can be overcome”. - Alan Cohen

EMDR

I completed EMDR training through EMDRIA in 2022. EMDR works to heal the emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that occur after experiencing a traumatic event.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is used throughout therapy in combination with other modalities. Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment as opposed to the internal and external chaos that can occur on a day to day basis.
