LMHC, 4 years of experience
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with four years of experience working in a private practice, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My approach is both clinical and creative, rooted in evidence-based practices such as CBT and play therapy, while infused with personality, authenticity, and connection. I have worked with a wide spectrum of life challenges from more complex and severe presentations, including psychotic disorders, to challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Clients often describe me as approachable, empowering, funny, relatable, and resourceful. I strive to make therapy both engaging and meaningful.
A first session with me is designed to feel welcoming and grounding. We begin by exploring what brings you to therapy, gathering background information, and discussing your hopes or goals so we can create a clear direction together. I also invite you to ask questions, share what makes you most comfortable in a therapeutic relationship, and consider whether the energy and connection feel right for you. I view this process as collaborative from the very start.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the way I blend clinical expertise, methods, and interventions with creativity, warmth, personality, flexibility, and adaptability. I draw from evidence-based methods while weaving in experiential techniques to meet each client where they are at. Clients often describe our work as uniquely personal, practical, and transformative, because they not only gain insight but also leave sessions with skills and perspectives they can apply to daily life.
I am best positioned to serve individuals and families who are seeking practical tools, psycho-education, and a supportive space to navigate life’s challenges. I work well with clients who may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, mood difficulties, or relational struggles, and who are open to creative, collaborative approaches that foster self-awareness and lasting change. Whether the goal is building coping skills, improving communication, strengthening family dynamics, or gaining clarity during times of transition, I partner with clients who are motivated to explore, grow, and actively engage in the therapeutic process.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy by drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities, tailoring techniques to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. This flexibility allows me to integrate methods such as CBT, play therapy, and family-systems work in a way that best supports growth and healing. By combining strategies rather than relying on one rigid framework, I create a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
