I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida and South Carolina. I work with family systems and individuals facing struggles in their relationships, finding themselves caught in maladaptive interactional patterns of communication and behavior. Neurodiverse families looking to better understand their specific circumstances, and ADHD or ASD struggles see these struggles, but are usually more exacerbated by often parent-child or pursuit-withdrawal style interactions between couples.
The first session is for information gathering to help me understand you a little bit. I will ask what type of struggles you are facing and to explain more of that, find out about your family and support system, talk about things you are involved in, and see what things you would like to see change as a result of our sessions together, beginning short and long term goal setting.
Having worked with many individuals and couples involving a diagnosis such as ASD or ADHD, I feel I have quite a bit of experience in being able to help people find new ways of working together to make things easier and less stressful. For individuals, helping with anxiety/depression, executive functioning, greater perspectives, social skills improvement, meditation, relatonship and personal growth. - ADHD-CCSP and trained in Neurodiversity in Relationships
