In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My approach to therapy is tailored to each individual. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and accelerated resolution therapy (ART). I also have a significant amount of life experience that tends to be one of my greatest assets. I am able to apply "life lessons" as well as utilize the professional education I have received to help clients with the challenges they are wanting to overcome.
A skill I have is to help you to identify your strengths and to motivate you to make the changes you desire. I will help you to see change as an opportunity for growth, not something to fear.
