I predominantly utilize CBT as it seems useful in most therapeutic situations. We all apply our own background and experiences to our issues and an outsider’s view can be helpful and give some different perspective and I feel that is my role in a therapeutic relationship.
I’ve enjoyed reading and training on this method of approaching issues in relationships and fine it to “make sense”. I lean into this approach when working with couples
I believe that helping someone build a framework for u deranging their own experiences or even trauma can be very helpful and often work on building a narrative w a client if possible.
This approach is very helpful in my opinion as it supports the client and provides tools useful immediately but also as they move forward.
