Hello! My name is Jessica Canada-Rudolph and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my Master's degree from Alliant University and have been practicing for 5 years. I love what I do! I am here to help with things from decreasing anxiety symptoms to increasing family communication. As an LMFT, I can be a neutral ear to listen with compassion and help you discover your solutions!
In our initial session, I will ask questions to get to know you and what you feel is the problem that is most important for you to work on. We will also collaborate on a treatment plan that will guide our future sessions.
I am a therapist who will listen with compassion and gently challenge you in a way to examine fears and make progress towards your goals. I provide a safe and welcoming space so that you will feel comfortable with expressing thoughts, feelings, and needs.
Sometimes we can get bogged down with what's going wrong and lose focus on what's going right. I use Solution Focused Therapy to help you focus on positive solutions to problems
With Cognitive Behavior Therapy I help you recognize and change negative thoughts and distortions that help shape your views and behaviors.
In couples therapy, there are a wide array of therapy models that I use to help couples with things from improving communication to developing a secure attachment in the relationship.
Our emotions are at the core of who we are. In Emotionally Focused Therapy I help people (individuals and couples) realize how to express emotions in a way that promotes healthy growth.
When there are injures to the "self" as a whole, habits may be adopted that block growth. I use the Internal Family Systems model to help heal the "self" so that issues can be resolved and bad habits can decrease.
