Hi! My name is Jessica. I am a Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree from U of I Chicago and my Undergraduate degree at U of I Champaign (I.L.L.). My clinical experience began right out of school in 2004 as a therapist for a foster care program. I have experience assessing crisis and referring to appropriate levels of care, inpatient and outpatient therapy and utilization/case management. I am generally laid back, compassionate, empathetic and genuinely motivated to help others become their best self.
Honestly, expect to walk away feeling better than when you started. My goal is to ensure you are heard, valued, respected and achieving your personal goals for treatment. I do expect you to be honest, respectful and open.
I am very laid back. I will always start with where you are and will work with you on your terms. But, also gently push you in the direction towards growth :-)
he bulk of my experience is with children 3-17 who were in crisis; dealt with depression, anxiety and self esteem issues. I also have experience working with adults in the same capacity as well as dealing with relationships and aging. My personal goal is to always help people feel better.
