LPC, 10 years of experience
Clients consistently praise my empathy, practical guidance, and measurable improvements they experience, with one noting: "Tim is empathetic and encouraging. I'm on session 7 seeing improvements. 10/10." I believe therapy should feel like a cozy tea-time chat in your living room, creating a safe space where intimacy and authentic connection flourish naturally. I'm not your typical practicioner. I brings a holistic, modern approach rooted in CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, supporting individuals, couples, and families through dating, marriage, or healing from the past. I tailor my approach to your unique story, helping you find peace, reconnect, and build lasting relationships, whether you're feeling distant, unheard, or weighed down by the past. Please respect my 15-minute wait policy. Sessions don't always start exactly on time due to back-to-back appointments. Just as clients can be a few minutes late without issue, practitioners deserve that same grace. Lastly, I don't provide documentation for work accommodations, emotional support animals, or leave requests, so if that's your primary need, I'm not the right fit for you.
During our first session, we'll dive into your motivations for seeking therapy, the issues and symptoms you're battling, and what you want the outcome of your therapy journey together to be. The main intervention I will be utilizing is psychotherapy and trauma-informed care. You’ll complete a holistic pre-care assessment to provide a measurement-driven baseline of your whole life balance, uncover your focus areas, and help me identify what needs attention.
Here’s what I bring to the table: emotional presence, reflective listening, and an open mind. If I’m not the right therapeutic fit for you, that’s okay (I'm not everyone's cup of tea 😉): it's your chance to recalibrate and find what works (just honor my humanity in the process, I'm human too, standing with you, not above you). I don’t give advice, I offer perspective. I won’t tell you what to do, I’ll candidly highlight your options. I don’t just focus on one part of your life, I see the whole you. With over a decade of experience shaped by training at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Tech, Guide, and within high performance organizations such as Google, Microsoft, and as an entrepreneur, I help unlock the deeper potential in you, your life, and your relationships. My passion is guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing, connection, and lasting love. If you’re ready, let’s begin the next chapter of your story, one filled with clarity, growth, and joy.
My ideal client is a Hispanic or African-American woman, 21–65, done with unfulfilling relationships, embarking on a new life transition, and is ready to do the work. She’s open to unpacking emotional baggage, embracing discomfort, and seeing love through a new lens. She knows therapy doesn’t end with me, because for her, every day is day one. Often, women convince their partners to pursue therapy with me, hoping to mend what’s broken, and we welcome that, but I encourage both partners to be truly aligned and ready to show up consistently before choosing us. I won't sell (or convince) you, or your partner, of the value of therapy. That's not my place. When you're both ready to show up and do the deep work, know this is the space for you.
Understanding trauma requires nuance. I focus on de-layering the trauma in your past and present to help you inform and cultivate your future. Trauma can run deep to the point that patients block it out of their memories. We explore your trauma together, stewing in it to ensure you don't get lost in the depths of it and you can rise up for air, take a deep breath, and forgive forward.
Stories matter. Using narrative therapy, we challenge you to explore the past, present, and future of your story. We are the stories we tell ourselves so we guide you in defining yours.
Our primary approach. In our practice, we apply experiential therapy in psychotherapy sessions through role-playing or presenting in-person opportunities that address root-cause issues the patient is struggling with.
We evaluate the psycho, physio-relational, and bio-physiological forensics of the couple's relationship to dissect gaps and opportunities in their relationship. Through this process, we can make informed recommendations and present opportunities for behavioral change and marital bliss.
Most adults forget about the importance of play at an individual and relational level We incorporate play into your life by staging targeted activities that yield enjoyment, thrill, and euphoria. Play needs to exist with self, in relationships, and in relation to the universe. Therefore, we guide you in redefining what play means for you, holistically.

Dr. FoW is an awesome therapist. He listens intently and offers very practical ways to make changes in how I respond to "triggering" situations. I enjoy our sessions and he makes me feel at ease to where I can be vulnerable without fear of judgement. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone needed guidance on how to become your best self.
