LCSW, 8 years of experience
Hi, I’m Tierra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel safe, genuine, and centered around you. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are and begin to make sense of the thoughts and feelings that feel heavy. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your story, building practical coping skills, and helping you reconnect with a stronger sense of self and balance.
My first goal is for you to feel seen. Not as a list of symptoms or diagnoses, but as a full person with a story that matters. I believe that healing begins when you no longer have to shrink who you are to fit what others expect. My role is not to fix you, but to walk beside you as you rediscover your strength, your voice, and your peace. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you are already enough. Therapy is not about becoming someone new. It is about uncovering the version of you that has been waiting to breathe again.
My approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration. We will explore your experiences with honesty and care, identify patterns, build coping skills, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been neglected or silenced.
I’m best positioned to serve adults and adolescents (16+) who are motivated to make changes but may feel stuck due to depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use. I work well with clients who want a supportive yet direct therapist to help them build coping skills, improve relationships, and find stability during life transitions. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and equipped to create meaningful change.
This approach helps identify and challenge negative thought patterns contributing to depression, anxiety and/or mood dysregulation.
I welcome reflective discussion centered around faith and how it relates to current struggles and life challenges. This is solely based on the client's preferences.
This approach focuses on encouraging an individual to articulate their strengths and resources. The primary focus is to identify solutions rather than delving deep into problems, fostering a positive outlook for future goals.
