As an Licensed Therapist, and in the field for the past 26 years, I believe each person's mental health is their own and it does not define you! We may struggle with symptoms of mental health but that is just what they are...symptoms! And I promise, they can be managed with the right therapist and the right tools and support! That is what I want to provide to my clients, a safe environment for you to share so I can give tools and support for you to become the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I want my clients to feel safe and know they are welcome to challenge and react without judgment from me. Know that there is no wrong way only what works. I work with the truth and so can be challenging at times. I try to be funny, well, I like to say I am, and I am an open book as long as it assists in your treatment.

As I work with my clients I want to give you hope that as you learn more about yourself you will be able to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviors that follow making your life fulfilling and meaningful again. I work with adults and couples providing tools to meet appropriate and achievable goals anywhere from communication to increasing mood or setting boundaries, and identifying and managing depression and anxiety. I want to meet you where you are and help you strive to achieve!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The CBT model states that thoughts influence an individual’s emotions and body sensations, which in turn, impacts their actions. I want to teach you how to become the best version of yourself by recognizing those thoughts, emotions and body sensations, identifying them and labeling them. You will learn more about yourself through being mindful and focused on your own needs. No expectations! only goals here! We work together to manage anxiety and depression in a way that will become very natural for the rest of your life if you follow through, have patience, and learn to trust yourself! Cause I do!
