I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts with over 15 years experience, and I have worked with many different types of mental health and personal issues including schizophrenia, major depression, anxiety disorders, low self esteem and assertiveness problems, relationship problems, as well as parenting and family related issues. I try to focus on helping people to believe in themselves, and I choose to work collaboratively with them to reach their life goals. If you are uncertain of which direction you you need to go in, we can discus’s together what brought you to seek counseling and what treatment plan might meet your needs. I primarily utilize strength based, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral approaches. The level of effort and work required will differ from person to person, but I will be in your corner every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and working with you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I would help the client set goals and specific issues they would like to address, and then identify any negative thought processes and work on challenging or reframing them. I would also try to replace negative behaviors and thoughts with healthier and more adaptive actions.
