I am a dedicated mental health therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and heal from past experiences. I primarily serve adults and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and relationship issues. Many of my clients are working through complex emotional patterns, past trauma, or navigating transitions in their personal or professional lives. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to support clients in gaining insight, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. The impact of this work can be transformative—clients often develop stronger self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of empowerment in their lives.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where they are encouraged to share at their own pace. We'll start by reviewing confidentiality, discussing the therapy process, and going over any questions or concerns the client may have. I’ll also gather information about the client’s background, current challenges, and what brought them to therapy. The session is focused on building a connection and helping the client feel comfortable. We'll begin to identify key areas of concern and start to explore goals for therapy together. While we may not dive deeply into difficult topics right away, clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of what the therapeutic journey will look like moving forward.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. I build strong therapeutic relationships by meeting clients where they are emotionally and tailoring my approach to their individual needs. I am skilled at helping clients explore deep emotional patterns, process trauma, and develop practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are motivated to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe, supportive environment. This includes individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, codependency, and relationship difficulties. I work especially well with clients who are open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and interested in understanding how past experiences may be influencing their present challenges.
As a clinician trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I have found this treatment method to be highly effective in helping clients process and resolve distressing memories, trauma, and core negative beliefs that impact current functioning. My experience includes working with individuals who present with PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and issues related to self-worth and attachment.
