New to Grow
I am personally interested in your healing, restoration, and growth, and I am passionate about the stories that are yet to be told. I enjoy helping both young and old people who are struggling with their identity, anxiety, and depression. My approach is firmly grounded in their inner strength and resilience of hope, empowering them to rise like eagles above the flood that threatens to overwhelm them.
In our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you and your story. We’ll talk about what brought you here, the challenges you’re facing, and what goals you’d like to work on in therapy. I may ask some questions about your background, family, and important life experiences so I can better understand your situation. You’ll also have a chance to ask me questions about how I work. The main goal of this first meeting is to build comfort, begin understanding your needs, and set a direction for our work together.
I am passionate about helping families who struggle with relationships, communication, and conflict. My approach focuses on rebuilding trust, safety, and connection so each family can grow into the kind of family they truly desire to be. I bring hope to families who may feel hopeless, defeated, or overwhelmed, and I work to empower them with greater resilience and confidence. My style is solution-focused and strength-based, meaning I help families recognize what’s already working and build on those strengths to create lasting change.
My ideal client is someone who wants to become the best version of themselves, even with external influences that may try to pull them in the opposite direction. I am passionate about walking alongside people during tough seasons, helping them regain clarity, confidence, and connection.
Family therapy is a type of counseling that helps everyone in the family improve the way they talk, listen, and solve problems together. Instead of focusing on just one person, we look at how relationships and communication patterns affect everyone. In our sessions, you’ll learn tools for healthier communication, practice ways to handle conflict, and work through past hurts so the family can feel more connected, respected, and supported.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of counseling that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. It teaches you to notice unhelpful or negative thoughts, challenge them, and replace them with healthier ways of thinking. By doing this, you can change how you feel and respond in difficult situations.
Christian counseling is a type of therapy that combines psychological principles with biblical truth. It helps people work through life’s struggles while grounding the process in prayer, scripture, and faith in God. The goal is not only emotional healing but also spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Christ.
Grief therapy is a form of counseling that helps people cope with the pain of losing someone or something important. It provides a safe space to process emotions like sadness, anger, or guilt, while learning healthy ways to adjust to life after loss. The goal is not to forget the loss, but to find healing and meaning while moving forward.
