I'm an adventurous risk taker that is often mistaken for an extrovert. I'm very social on my own terms but honestly I prefer to be home or in small group of family and friends. My time is balanced between family, travel and helping my clients create a life that makes them smile. In my social groups I'm the outspoken aunty or sister. I'm going to give it to you straight when you're ready to hear it with care and compassion.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy has been my primary modality for 10 years. Using CBT I am working with your thoughts and the internal self-talk. I believe these things are responsible for your feelings and behaviors.
In addition to CBT, I use somatic practices and expressive arts in my practice. Somatic work deals with the body. This would look like meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and therapeutic stretching. Expressive arts with clients have included role playing, poetry, music and other media outlets to bring awareness or help to make meaning of life's challenges.
