About me

Hi there, I am so happy you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Virginia. I received my Masters in Social Work from VCU and have been practicing for 8 years. I've been fortunate in having a variety of experiences that include working in acute inpatient and outpatient settings, treating adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of symptoms and diagnoses. My most recent role includes opening and managing several Partial Hospitalization Programs in the Richmond area. After many years of working in the hospital setting, I am eager to return to my passion of working one-on-one with those looking to reclaim their life and protect their peace.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect brief introductions, and then I will ask you some questions that assist me in understanding some of the challenges you might be facing and/or goals you'd like to achieve in our work together. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I will guide you with prompts while also following your lead in setting the tone during our initial session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a person with lived experience, I bring a unique perspective to our sessions in that I've experienced both seats at the table. I've guided and held the hands of others through their journey, while also being on the receiving end in my own personal work. I understand the incredible effort and commitment it takes to ask for help. I am honored to walk alongside you, and be the ultimate hype girl. You deserve it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

We may be a good match if you have experienced trauma, narcissistic abuse, chronic fatigue or stress, depression, anxiety, issues with self-esteem, identity or sense of self, difficulty with familial relationships, mood dysregulation, dissociation, difficulty with motivation and interpersonal relationships. I am particularly passionate about working with adults (of all ages and walks of life) who have experienced trauma and are interested in taking steps to reclaim your life.
