Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. I have had the opportunity to work in my field for 20 years in various roles to provide quality care to my clients. I am very lucky to have received training in various treatment approaches and I use that knowledge and my clinical experience to provide a practical and effective therapeutic approach that supports a patient’s journey to become the best version of themselves. I often hear that I am direct while maintaining understanding.
In our first session, I will obtain both historical and present information so I can better understand your current symptoms/ challenges. We will then identify what treatment goals you are seeking to accomplish, and what has not worked for you previously. We can then jump right into beginning therapy.
My experience is honestly one of my greatest strengths. I may not have seen everything but I am pretty close to it. Although I have been in the field for quite some time, I have had the great pleasure of serving as a clinical supervisor for over 10 years. In addition to my own training that I have sought over the years, and my direct client treatment experiences, I have learned numerous forefront treatment approaches from those that I supervise. It has been like a consistent educational experience for me. This has been extremely valuable in treating my own clients. Last but not least, I am relatable and “down to earth”. I have met so many clients that describe negative therapy experiences. I don’t want that for my clients.
I have treatment knowledge/experience in various treatment approaches to allow me to effectively treat a large variety of symptoms/identified problems.
Trained in CBT, utilized as a common approach for my treatment.
Obtained extensive training on grief and loss and effectively applied this training to assisting my patients.
